My name is Lawana Newsome, and I’m the proud owner of A Royal Event Party Planning and Event Venue, located in the heart of Dutchtown, South St. Louis City.

This business is more than just a job or a dream, it’s my heart in action. I started A Royal Event in September 2017, shortly after welcoming my daughter Royal into the world. She became my reason, my inspiration, and my “why.” I wanted to create something meaningful, not just for myself, but for her. Something lasting. Something beautiful. And so, A Royal Event was born. It’s not just a business; it's a legacy in motion.
